"Survivor Skydives to Spite Hitler"

Zev and I were both raised Jewish. Neither of us really practices or does anything religious anymore other than occasionally to please our parents, but our families are Jewish, so there’s a definite connection there.

Zev’s parents practice Kabbalah. My dad’s what you might call an Anti-Semitic Jew, but my mom has strong feelings about her religion and thinks about viagra tablet weight going to temple a lot… in no small part because her parents, my grandparents – Harry and Jean Grundman – were in various concentration camps, including Auschwitz, during World War II. Both obviously survived those horrors and have gone on to raise a family and live long and productive lives.

Anyway – the point is that that’s our connection to this story, about an 85 year-old Jewish man who also survived World War II and recently went skydiving as one last “Screw You” to Hitler.

It’s about adventure and positivity, 2 things we’ll try to stress the importance of here on our blog, if not in our lives.

Here’s the link. It’s a pretty cool story.

This is a topic I’ve found very interesting, that the vast majority of people with asperger’s are not religious. Since they’re about logic, science, and what makes sense, they largely disregard organized religion.
I sometimes visit an ASD forum and I remembered a poll about religious preference.. so I went back to reference it.

Question: What is your religious preference?
    39% selected atheist
    42% selected agnostic *
    18% selected religious

For the purposes of this poll, the definition of agnostic was defined as, and I quote (so please don’t take offense) “we’ll define Agnostics as people who believe that there is something of a higher power but recognize that the church is full of crap”

Really? A guy named Zev is a Jew? Crazy.

Great story. I remember hearing a story of a transient Jew hiding his identity somewhere in Nazi Germany. I wonder how many people were transient Jews hiding their identity in Nazi Germany. I also remember watching a video about the concentration camps and I remember watching a naked Jew run out of the concentration camp as the Nazi was transporting people into the camp. I wonder what happened to that guy.
As for me, I was searching to get in touch with my Judah ancestry and I met a Japanese man that taught me a little Judo, not necessarily in that order,jk, pulling your leg, but was serious about the Judo-Judah thing.

you know, what would make Hitler roll in his grave and ressurect from the dead is if you have a child with one of his Nazis. I think that would be funny. Speaking of, when I was in Heidelberg I swear I saw Hitler’s ghost and I just had to comment on his mustache. I ended up having an abortion because the child was blind and I don’t have the money to raise a blind child. I did get pregnant with a Neo-Nazi and it was totally scary to see Hitler. I convinced the guy that Hitler was a psychopath and that there was no proof that Jews and other evolved from the puppy; its just impossible.
